David Laurin, born February 25 1991, is a crafts person and designer currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a resident artist in the wood studio at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga Ontario. David studied philosophy at the University of Toronto, followed later by his degree in Craft and Design a Sheridan College. Primarily a furniture maker, he enjoys exploring a variety of mediums including wood, textiles, paper, printmaking and ceramics. He has shown his work at gallery 1313 in Toronto as well as in the prototype section of the Toronto Interior Design Show. His work has been featured on Dezeen.
